PushCorp has designed a series of tool shafts to aid the customer when performing random orbital sanding operations. These are designed with counter weights and eccentrics based on the desired sanding disk diameter and orbit diameter. The 5″ & 6″ disc units are are tapped to accept 5/16-24 male threaded disks, while the 3″ disc units are tapped for 1/4-20. Disks are available from several abrasive manufacturers to support a wide variety of media. The following charts show the appropriate PushCorp Assembly number for a desired Sanding Disk Diameter & Orbit Diameter.

Robotic Paper Changer
The PushCorp Robotic Paper Changer or RPC100 provides an efficient and robust method to change abrasive sanding discs for finishing applications. This product is designed to be used with a robot and Random Orbital Sander, such as our Pnuematic ROS or any of our Electric Servo Spindles paired with a ROS Tool Holder.

The RPC100 allows a robot to change 75mm (3”), 125mm (5”), or 150mm (6”) paper autonomously through the application of pneumatic actuators, sensors, and removal blade within the RPC100. This makes it a perfect pairing for applications that use a large amount of abrasive discs with materials such as:

Wood
Composites
Metal
The RPC100 is comprised of a blade for removing the paper from a hook and loop pad, a cylinder for applying the paper to the pad, and sensors to verify that the process is completed successfully.

Robot and Spindle Brackets

PushCorp has designed a series of brackets to make integrating our equipment easier than ever. All of our Force Compliance Devices have a 90mm circular bolt pattern on the horizontal mounting plate. This 90mm bolt pattern can be mounted to any of the robot adapter plates in the “3D & 2D Downloads” section. If there is not a bracket for your robot in this list, we will make one!

We also have several different mounting plates and brackets to mount our spindles to the force compliance device.
